Description

In hydropower plant,the water supply system(water supply systems for generator’s cooler, generator set’s bearings cooling water,main shaft sealing) often employ bidirectional water supply methods,supply water in positive and negative directions,and flush the pipeline regularly to avoid mud and sand silting up in the pipeline.

The diagram below shows that in this water supply system,it needs four motorized valves to work together. When water supply in positive direction,open valve 1 and valve 4,close valve 2 and valve 3;and when water supply in negative direction,open valve 2 and valve 3,and close valve 1 and Valve 4.

The water supply system is to complicated installed.and occupy to big room,and employ 4 motorized valves,it will increase cost and increase the odds to break down,if one of the valves can’t work,the whole system can’t work any more.

So our this four-way switch valve solves this problem,only one four-way switch valve can replace the function of the four motorized valves.

The water flow direction in the valve can be controlled by manual or the valve controls itself automatically. When set a differential manometer at two ends of the cooler,when the differential pressure reaches the set value,the electric actuator drive the valve to switch water flow direction automatically.
